SELECT Hinges — for application on wood, aluminum, or hollow metal doors and frames — will outperform most entrance components by distributing door weight along the full length of the doorframe. No mortising is necessary, and the self-aligning shoulder on the jamb leaf and flange on the door leaf on some models make it practically impossible to hang a door incorrectly.

All SELECT Hinges (except toilet partition hinges) are 90-minute fire rated. However, for a minimal additional charge, the 90-minute fire rating can be upgraded to a 3-hour fire rating. This significant rating increase results from a patented process which eliminates the need for installing additional pins or studs. All hinges with fire rating are approved for positive and negative pressure. SELECT’s patented process saves the cost of purchasing and installing additional components to attain a 3-hour fire rating, eliminating liability worries.
